Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School inherits the rich academic traditions of Peking University, and embraces the spirit of innovation and vibrancy that defines Shenzhen -- China’s youngest and fastest-growing metropolis.

At the School of Advanced Materials, we are dedicated to education and cutting-edge research across a wide range of fields, including advanced carbon materials, materials for energy storage and conversion, organic optoelectronics, and solar cells etc. Nowadays, we are also rapidly expanding our research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Materials to keep pace with its growing importance in research and technology.

Our school has more than 100 faculty and research staff, including two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and many nationally recognized scholars. We currently enroll over 200 graduate students -- a number that has steadily increased over the past decade. Domestically, we apply a rigorous admissions process to attract the most talented undergraduate students. Internationally, our innovative graduate programs are attracting increasing interest from students around the world.
