SAM Student Union

The SAM Student Union is a student-led organization established by and for the students of the School. As a branch of the PKU Shenzhen Graduate Student Union, it is dedicated to uniting all graduate students and fostering a distinctive "Nanyan" campus culture through ideological guidance, growth support, rights protection, and cultural activities.

Here, you will find a community of curious minds and passionate individuals—not only peers on your academic journey but also active creators of a vibrant campus life. From spring outings and photography sessions to fitness challenges, the Union organizes diverse activities that offer unique opportunities for teamwork and forge lasting friendships.

The SAM Student Union is structured into six key departments working in coordination: the Presidium, Organization Department, Academic Department, Cultural and Arts Department, Sports Department, and Publicity Department. Under the leadership of the Presidium, the Organization Department executes the Union's management systems and coordinates inter-departmental operations to ensure efficient functioning, while also planning thematic Party and League Day activities and spring outings. The Academic Department supports students' research learning and career development by organizing key course review sessions, corporate and university presentations, and visits to leading enterprises. The Cultural and Arts Department is responsible for planning artistic and recreational activities such as galas and art competitions to enhance artistic appreciation and enrich campus culture. The Sports Department arranges sporting events including the university sports meet, fun games, and the ""Freshmen Cup,"" while also initiating fitness check-ins, graduation basketball matches, and glow night runs. The Publicity Department handles all promotional activities for the Union, manages the School's communication platforms, and organizes branded events like the ""Spring Scenery Photography"" activity to showcase campus vibrancy.
