Academics

The academic year at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School is divided into two semesters: Fall and Spring.

・Semester Duration: Each semester typically spans 18 weeks, concluding with a two-week period dedicated to final reviews and examinations.

・Summer Break: The summer vacation commences in late June and lasts approximately eight weeks.

・Winter Break: The timing of the winter break is determined by the Chinese lunar calendar. It generally lasts for four weeks, centered around the Chinese New Year, with about ten days before and after the holiday.
