On October 24, 2025, the donation ceremony from Guangdong CellWise Microelectronics Co., Ltd. to Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School was successfully held at the campus. Attendees included Yanbo Jiang, Founder, Chairman, and General Manager of Guangdong CellWise Microelectronics Co., Ltd.; Meihua Gu, Human Resources Director; Junchong Huang, Assistant to the General Manager; Tianbing Wang, Vice Dean of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School; Hongwei Niu, Vice Dean, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Foundation; Lianming Tong, Vice Dean of the School of Advanced Materials; Yingjie Chen, Associate Researcher at the School of Advanced Materials; Xiulan Huang, Deputy Director of the Foundation Secretariat/Alumni Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation; and Meng Wang, Brand and Communications Advisor of the Foundation. Tianbing Wang first expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School for CellWise Microelectronics’ philanthropic contribution. He briefly introduced the institute’s development history, educational characteristics, and strategy for scientific and technological innovation. He emphasized that the institute deeply implements the development philosophy of “problem-oriented, north-south linkage, AI-driven, and innovative integration,” empowering fundamental research through scientific intelligence, promoting paradigm shifts in research, accelerating scientific discovery, defining the future of industries, and supporting the construction of Peking University’s “New Engineering” southern base. Looking ahead, the institute looks forward to exploring broader and deeper cooperation with CellWise Microelectronics beyond this donation. He also pledged that the Foundation will strictly adhere to the usage requirements outlined in the donation agreement, providing excellent service in collaboration with the school and the enterprise to add new momentum to innovation and industrial development in new energy technologies.
Lianming Tong, representing the School of Advanced Materials, extended sincere thanks for the donation. He noted that this contribution not only injects vital momentum into the school’s discipline development but also provides strong support for advancements in the energy battery field, particularly in battery management. It will play a key role in supplementing teaching resources, improving research platforms, and fostering student exchange and training, laying a solid foundation for further optimizing the teaching and research environment and deepening industry-academia-research collaborative innovation.
Yanbo Jiang highly praised Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School for integrating Peking University’s profound academic heritage with Shenzhen’s pioneering urban spirit of “daring to venture and experiment.” He emphasized that supporting industrial development and the commercialization of academic achievements through donation is an honor for the company. He stated that the donation is not merely an act of charity but a significant way for the enterprise to fulfill its social responsibility and give back to society—a “strategic investment” for the future. He looks forward to working with the institute to contribute to the development of Peking University’s educational initiatives in Shenzhen, deepen industry-academia-research integration, and elevate industry technical standards. By applying the “precision management” mindset from the battery chip field, the company aims to contribute wisdom to cultivating cutting-edge technological talent serving national strategic needs.

Subsequently, both parties signed the donation agreement. Tianbing Wang presented an honorary plaque to CellWise Microelectronics, and Hongwei Niu gifted a commemorative item to the company.

Discussion and Exchange
Prior to the ceremony, representatives from the institute accompanied CellWise Microelectronics guests on a tour of the School of Advanced Materials, School of Electronic and Computer Engineering, School of International Law, and HSBC Business School. Faculty from each school provided detailed introductions to their educational features, faculty strength, talent cultivation, and research achievements. The on-site visit significantly enhanced CellWise Microelectronics’ understanding of the institute’s current research dynamics and development direction, laying a solid foundation for future enhanced university-enterprise collaboration, mutual benefit, and the cultivation of more high-quality talent.
