I. Introduction to the Conference
The inaugural 2026 Longhu Innovation Conference will be held April 28–30, 2026 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. The conference is co-hosted by: Peking University, Henan Academy of Sciences, Zhengzhou Institute of Advanced Materials (Peking University), State Key Laboratory of Advanced Waterproof Materials, and Management Committee of Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou. Co-organized by: Zhengzhou University, Henan University, Henan University of Science and Technology, Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, State Key Laboratory of Rare Metal Extraction & High-Purity Processing, Yellow River Laboratory (Henan), and Beijing Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd. The conference aims to build a high-level, open platform for academic exchange and industrial cooperation in advanced materials. It focuses on national strategic needs and regional industrial development, promoting in-depth industry–academia–research integration, technology transfer, and interdisciplinary collaborative innovation.
Under the theme “Gathering Materials at Longhu, Innovating Wisely for the Future”, the conference features 6 parallel sessions covering:

A poster session will be arranged to encourage young scholars and students to present their latest research. The conference will discuss frontier basic research, key core technologies, and industrial applications, with a focus on breaking technical bottlenecks, accelerating the translation of basic research into industrial applications, and deepening the integration of scientific and industrial innovation.
We sincerely invite experts, scholars, and industrial partners worldwide to gather in Zhengzhou to discuss cutting-edge developments, promote technology commercialization, and contribute to fostering new quality productive forces and high-quality development of the advanced materials industry.

V. Call for Abstracts
1. The conference accepts oral presentations and poster presentations via abstract submission. Deadline for submissions: April 20, 2026. Please send submissions to: pkumse@pku.edu.cn
2. Subject: 2026 Longhu Innovation Conference. The first page must include: author name, affiliation, title, phone number, and E-mail.
3. Poster Requirements: Include title, authors, affiliation, contact info, background, methods, results, conclusions, and acknowledgments. Poster size: 80 cm (W) × 180 cm (H). No content within 3 cm of the edges. Reserve holes in the black border and install metal eyelets for hanging.
