I. Program Introduction

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (hereinafter referred to as “PKU Shenzhen”), enhance PKU Shenzhen’s international influence, and promote cross-cultural communication and academic exchanges among young students worldwide, we are hosting the 2026 International Summer Exploration Camp: Explore the Future, Gather Wisdom in the Bay Area. By integrating PKU Shenzhen’s top academic resources with the innovation vitality driven by Shenzhen’s “Double Zones,” this program offers international students a unique platform to explore cutting-edge disciplines, experience China’s development, and immerse themselves in Lingnan culture.

Founded in 2013, the School of Advanced Materials (SAM) combines “PKU tradition” with “Shenzhen vitality.” Rooted in Peking University’s academic heritage, SAM builds an open, diverse, and innovative southern base for “new engineering disciplines” for international and overseas Chinese students. Based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the school focuses on cutting-edge fields including AI + Materials, Glass and Optoelectronic Display Materials, and Green Energy Materials. Through international collaborative research and industrial innovation, SAM provides a global and interdisciplinary growth platform for students from all over the world to explore the future of materials at the intersection of cross-cultural exchange and cutting-edge science.
